Gorgó Divadlo X10

Autorská hra česko-rakouského básníka a filologa Ondřeje Cikána je sugestivní verzí báje
známé z Ovidiových Proměn. Jasný hrdina Perseus tráví čas na vlastní svatbě s princeznou
Andromedou, kterou zachránil před mořskou nestvůrou Cétó. V brašně přitom schovává hlavu
Gorgony Medúsy a je na ni něžný. Andromeda vypadá jako z mramoru, Cassiopeia je
nesnesitelná a Phíneus by měl přestat chlastat. Nymphy na pláži tančí a netuší, že se brzy
stanou obětí temnoty.

The author of Czech-Austrian poet and philologist Ondřej Cikán is a suggestive version of the
poem known from Ovid’s Metamorphoses. The protagonist Perseus spends his time at his own
wedding with Princess Andromeda, whom he saved from the sea monster of Cetus. Meanwhile,
he has the head of the Gorgon Medusa in his bag and he is gentle with it. Andromeda looks
like she is made out of marble, Cassiopeia is unbearable and Phineus should stop drinking.
The nymphs on the beach are dancing, oblivious to the fact they will soon become victims
of the darkness.
